Everyday Matters / Occupational Wellness

Meaningful Activities. Meaningful Lives.

Occupation is not just a job or a profession. Occupations are meaningful activities that people do in their daily lives to occupy their time, give life purpose, and contribute to their identity and well-being. These are the things we do every day – from ordinary and necessary to preferred and chosen – that shape our health, wellbeing and identity.

My Approach

Guiding You Toward Purpose, Wellness, and Everyday Fulfillment.

I’m a problem solver at heart with a deep understanding of the nuances of human function. My approach is grounded in respect for human potential and the belief that meaningful occupation is essential to living a balanced and satisfying life, recognizing that what is meaningful differs for each person depending on their abilities, interests and circumstances.

My focus has evolved beyond the constraints of insurance-driven care, allowing me to provide services that truly support wellness, prevention and meaningful engagement, rather than being limited by what’s reimbursable.  Integrating 20 years of clinical experience with a forward-thinking, occupational science–informed approach, I aim to support occupational wellness in both traditional and nontraditional contexts.  Through this consultative model of practice, I can provide education and guidance that empowers clients to sustain health, prevent disruption, and foster meaningful engagement in daily life for sustained wellness.

Helping You Thrive in the Moments That Matter.

I look closely at the physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional, and social aspects of daily tasks. This perspective enables me to examine how clients perform, adapt, create, connect and find meaning through occupation across the lifespan.

Together, we identify the activities that matter most, those that bring satisfaction or joy and those that are difficult and pose challenges.  Using activity analysis, therapeutic reasoning, and problem-solving, I develop creative, practical strategies to help design environments, routines, and occupations that enhance independence, function, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.

With two decades of diverse clinical experience, I support people of all ages and needs, referring to specialized practitioners when appropriate.
